Reading support
Often the hidden cause of a math grade.
A student who cannot decode a word problem will fail a math test they could otherwise pass. When reading is the real bottleneck, I work on that too. One of my middle school students moved up two full grade levels in language arts.

Taught to Utah’s actual course sequence
Utah does not run the standard Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2 track. It runs Secondary Math I, II and III, which braid algebra, geometry and statistics together across all three years. A tutor who does not know that will teach your student the right math at the wrong time.
I taught inside that sequence, so our sessions line up with the unit your student is actually in this week.
